St. Christopher's Leadership

Fr. Jerry was elected the second rector of St. Christopher’s and began his ministry with us in 2021.

“I love to preach and take this role very seriously. My life experiences continue to train me to be a compassionate person when dealing with transition times for parishioners. Being with people during good and challenging times is essential to who I am. I am very good at mediating difficult times. You will find that I am a very collaborative person and a very transparent person. People are attracted to others who are genuine and can see right through fake people.”

Angela is our Administrative Assistant in the church office. She handles all of the office details including but not limited to answering phones, creating the bulletins, Cyber Trumpeter, monthly Trumpeter, payroll, payables and assists Father Lasley as needed.

Angela received her Associates Degree in Applied Business from the University of Toledo and was paralegal for 11 years before becoming a stay at home mom to her three children.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and watching their children in their sporting activities. She also enjoys refinishing and restoring furniture and home decor.

Luna is a person of many hobbies: rollerblading, gardening, painting and playing music, to name a few. She has taught herself to read music, plant a garden, and start a cleaning service. She has a positive attitude and says that anybody can learn anything with enough hard work and dedication. She would like to learn more about music and expand her business.

Luna is also our StC A/V person who directs our live-streaming.

Nada Radakovich has had the pleasure of singing all over the United States, Canada and Europe for the past 25 years. She was a professional soprano, and returned to Michigan to care for her father in his final years.

Ms. Radakovich holds MM and BM degrees from the University of Michigan School of Music in Ann Arbor, and is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy.

Nada had the distinction of being the only vocal student of Metropolitan Opera Star Judith Blegen for many years in NYC. In Europe, Ms. Radakovich worked with famed soprano Elisabeth Schwarzkopf.

More recently Nada has enjoyed being the musical director for the Comic Opera Guild in Ann Arbor, the Kearsley Park Players here in Flint, and, for the past 5 years, directing Menotti’s magical one act opera, “Amahl and the Night Visitors” at the Flint Institute of Music. She is thrilled that she has been invited to be a part of ‘all things musical’ at St. Christopher’s. She is the co-director of the Flint Symphony Chorus and a founding board member of the Grand Blanc Choral Society.

Fr. Mike has attended St. Chris since 2012. He is a graduate of St. Mary’s seminary with bachelor in Philosophy and St.Maur’s Theological Seminary, The Graduate Theological Foundation with Ph.D in Pastoral Psychology and holds a Master of Arts from Seton Hall and a Doctorate of Ministry with emphasis in Spiritual Direction.

Fr. Mike was Ordained at St.Meinrad Archabbey in 1967. He translated priestly orders into Episcopal Church in 1994. In the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan he served as Priest in charge of St. Luke, Allen Park, St. Hilda, River Rouge, and Christ the King, Taylor, MI.

Fr. Mike loves veterans and served as Chief of Chaplains for 23 years at Veterans Hospital in Detroit. He has been ordained for 58 years.

Fr. Don came to StC in 2015 as the Priest-in-Charge after 30 years as a parish school Chaplain/Teacher for five years and then a parish Rector for 4 churches in Kansas and Nebraska..

Fr. Don received his B.S. in Communications/Education from the University of Rio Grande (Ohio), and his M.Div and D.Min degrees from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary. He is a retired Chaplain (Colonel) US Army National Guard.

After leaving St. Christopher’s in 2020 and serving as Priest-in-Charge of parishes in Wyoming and Flint, Michigan, Warwick, New York and Charles Town, West Virginia he fully retired in 2024. Fr. Don serves as a supply priest, and continues as a computer geek/IT person and amateur radio operator along with being a model railroad enthusiast. He and Marcie reside in Grand Blanc with their three cats.

Dr. Carl Angelo recently served as the director of music and fine arts/organist at First Presbyterian Church of Flint, Michigan, in addition to churches in Saginaw, MI, Winter Haven, FL, and Indianapolis, IN. He has served on the faculty at Saginaw Valley State University as Artist in Piano and Organ, and also as the pianist for the Saginaw Choral Society.

Angelo has performed as a soloist and collaborative musician on piano and organ throughout the United States and has accompanied choruses under the direction of conductors Vance George, director emeritus of the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, and Craig Jessop, former director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. He has lectured and performed for the American Matthay Association for Piano and has conducted clinics for the American Guild of Organists, served on the faculty for the Montreat Worship and Music Conference as adult choir accompanist, and participated as harpsichordist for the Baroque on Beaver Music Festival, Beaver Island, MI.

He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Indiana University where he studied with Larry Smith. He was the winner of the 1987 American Guild of Organists Young Artist Competition, Indianapolis, Indiana and is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honorary Society. He holds Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees from Kent State University where he studied organ with John D. Herr and John Ferguson, and piano with Robert Palmieri. Extensive piano study was with Nellie Whittaker, a pupil of Guy Maier, and coaching with Gary Wolf, professor emeritus of the University of Central Florida.
