Ministry at St. Christopher's

The rite of healing or unction is a special prayer that is administered by a priest (or a lay person in special circumstances).

This is not “faith healing” in the contemporary sense, it is the prayer of the whole community of Christ for the grace of our savior Jesus Christ during a difficult time.

The need for healing may be expressed openly or kept confidential and may be physical, mental, emotional or any combination.

This service typically includes Holy Eucharist  (Communion)
